My family knows me as a hugger. They explain to their friends, “she just can’t help herself” as I reach out and pull them in.

Many religions use the moon cycle to set their yearly calendars. This weekend’s full moon brings a surge of energy and reminds us of spring, new beginnings, rebirth–the opportunity to contemplate, “if I was able to die and be re-born, how would I change and do it different?”

THE MIDDLE WAY
Over the holidays we had the chance to go see the latest Star Wars film. Afterwards we shared a pizza and conversation about the movie. We all loved the part when Luke Skywaker teaches Rey (the new Jedi) about the Zen practice of the middle way.
