FLOW WITH THE SEASON
As a young girl I enjoyed the four seasons that cycled through the year. I looked forward to the change that each season brought. When I moved away from changing seasons, I never realized how much I would miss the natural cycle.
I am now living back with four seasons and I am reminded of my younger years— the wonder each season brings.
WINTERTIME in it’s full glory of snowflakes, crackling fires, warm soups and baking scents that fill the homes. Quiet indoor opportunities the colder months asks us to follow. A season to move inward and enjoy.
Indulge in self-care activities of warm soaks in a bath filled with salts and lavender, or settle into a new great book, or extra time for journaling, writing and painting. As well as bundling up for a brisk walk to come home to a steaming hot cup of tea.
Appreciate winter for what it is, and as we do our bodies find the balance of this restorative season.
with love,
Elizabeth
