Giclee, pronounced “zhee-clay” is a French term meaning “to spray”, referring to how an inkjet printer works.
The process begins with someone who specializes in this technique (I found a brilliant guy named John with High Desert Arts ) who takes a super-high quality photograph of my art and then uses a large ink-jet printer with small spraying devices that can both match my colors and apply ink precisely, giving me a very high-quality print of my original art.
