Sacred Geometry, Vesica Picis, an etheric bridge between the union of opposites, the physical and spiritual, the masculine and feminine, and perhaps Heaven and Earth?

For me, it’s an exciting concept to ponder, a link to the hidden order of our world and the interconnectedness of all things channeled into art.

I am intrigued with sacred space.

To find harmony and order in a space makes me feel good and brings me a sense of well-being. This interest lead me to explore sacred geometry, which suggests that our world has a divine order in geometric patterns and mathematical ratios found in nature, music and light.

I believe these harmonious patterns create a vibrational pull of energy that connects us all, and a new appreciation of the world we share.

Relationships are how we grow; they cradle and stretch us. Through connection and division, love and hurt, compassion and separation, they invite us to return again and again to the most important relationship we’ll ever have – the one with ourself, the sacred union that’s been waiting within.

We’ve been watching the Olympic Winter Games. For me, they seem to bring the world a little closer. To see different country’s topography, customs— and how the incredible true grit of the athletes brings them to the top of their game and represent their countries.

As well as the sports I find the personal stories equally inspirational, like the USA Olympic cross country skier, Jessie Diggins who inspired many as she shared her struggles of a teenage eating disorder.

A brand new collection of gouache watercolor paintings. These are a little different, they are smaller, 11x17.5 framed and hold the flexibility to work in lots of different settings.

One by one, they then began to land on a dirt pile next to us. I counted. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven. Seven ravens sitting right next to us. At first I was a little startled and had a fearful thought, oh no– what are seven ravens doing sitting next to us? Ron said this is so cool.

The love you radiate to the world begins with love for yourself.

About nine months ago, I started to paint. This new exploration is so much fun that I spend most of my free time playing around with my paints.

When my mind is calm and filled with faith, I can see solutions more clearly, and in this space choose the best one.

If it is true the flutter of the butterfly’s wings in the Amazon can be felt all over the planet– then so can our support of light and love for those suffering from Hurricane Harvey.

Everyone holds soulful power. This power is uniquely your own as no one is exactly the same. It is not always easy to dedicate time and intention to connect to your genuine inner light – but when you do, you create from a place that is authentically YOU. No one else could create anything like it. People are drawn to authenticity– it is a snap shot of the best part of you.

The other day I had a fun synchronistic happening. My friend Jodie King (check out her inspirational art) is creating a painting for us. We met to chat about this idea which then lead to talking about art in general.
