SIX STAGES OF CREATING YOUR ART

The other day I had a fun SERENDIPITOUS happening. My friend Jodie King (check out her inspirational art).

We were hanging out together talking about art. I told her I was playing around with watercolor. She said watercolor can be tricky and asked how it was going for me. I told her I really enjoy the painting part, of it but I’m really sure what I am doing and if any of my pieces will ever turn out. She said, I think you need to hear the six stages of creating art (see above). Then something really MAGICAL happened that confirmed her message was a direct hit. Kind of like a 2×4 over my head.

About an hour after she left I received a text from her saying the “six stages of creating art” showed up on her feed (the numbered words above).

Sometimes angels bring us signs in a whisper and sometimes they come in loud & clear. How can you relate to these six steps of creating your art? Are you paying attention to your signposts, and where are they leading you?
