They are some of the most down-to -Earth people I have ever met. They invite you into their homes and can’t wait for you to eat their home-cooked gumbo. I once had a stranger in a restaurant offer me something off of her plate.
It is really not surprising to find out that any guy near Baton Rouge has been in his boat looking to rescue someone.
