The Scent Keeper by Erica Bauermeister
You know how it feels to find a a book you love? I am talking about the kind of read (that you can’t wait until the next time) you get a chance to sit down and enjoy a few more chapters.
Looking for a new read? I highly recommend The Scent Keeper by Erica Bauermeister.
This book is a novel, and I am not usually a fiction-reading-kind-of-gal. I am mostly drawn to non-fiction spirituality but this title jumped off the shelf and tethered me like an anchor’s force from a sea of books.
IN HONOR OF FATHERS
Today marks a special day, a day to honor dad. As my readers are mostly comprised of mothers, it feels important to call out a special honoring today, to our fathers.
This morning, my husband was celebrated with Facetime chats and a special dinner planned for him.
A MOTHER'S DAY STORY

Winnie The Pooh Shares Words of Wisdom
My dad went to heaven today. A poem we both love felt appropriate to share.
AFRICA: MASAI MARA ANIMAL MESSENGERS
The first night in Africa we stayed in a hotel in Nairobi as we arrived too late (3 of 4 flights) to continue traveling on. That night my dream was vivid. I woke up thinking was this for real or was I dreaming?
In my dream I met a male lion in the garden.
THIS I BELIEVE: ONE ESSAY AT A TIME
A Mother’s Intuition made it through the selection process and now is available to all readers of This I Believe!
HEALTH CARE REFORM- PREVENTION IS KEY
In 2003, my family returned to the United States after living abroad in England for fifteen years. After only a few days in the humid, allergen-laden Houston air, our little boy Sam had an asthma attack. Luckily, a precautionary “emergency” inhaler quickly dilated the bronchi in his lungs, and he recovered.
