There is always something that leads me to distraction from my morning meditation practice. You would think, after twenty plus years of meditation I would come to the realization– to quiet my mind each morning is the most powerful act I can do in my day.

To create daily calmness within and a connection to a higher power that clears my head– is like getting a direct line to God, which helps answers my worries. It’s the only way I know how to help myself.

When my mind is calm and filled with faith, I can see solutions more clearly, and in this space choose the best one.
