According to the Zuni Pueblo people, owls can see what others cannot. Owl’s perceptivity reminds us of the importance of both worlds we reside in: the physical as well as the spiritual, perhaps the known and the unknown.

Our willingness and courage to transform the unknown in ourselves into the known is a true source of wisdom. Owl’s wisdom comes from the ability to discern that which cannot be seen.

How do you tap into the unknown and become aware of what cannot be seen in your life?Check out our newest e-course INNER COMPASS to learn tools in developing your intuition.

The stone-carved Owl above sits on my desk and came from one of our favorite places in Santa Fe, Keshi. Keshi (kay-SHE) is the traditional greeting of the Zuni Pueblo people who live in a stunningly beautiful part of western New Mexico.

Owner Brownwyn is a beautiful blue-eyed blonde who attended school as a young girl at the pueblo as her mother Robin (in 1981 was a school teacher there) and went on to create Keshi. Keshi buys directly from the Zuni people and does many wonderful things to support the tribe.
